The families from an equally important part of the Regiment. Grant care is taken t o help the young brides to settle down. The Commanding Officers’ wives assume the mantle of foster mothers who initiate the newcomers to the Regiment and provide them the necessary guidance and security.

          Family line garden competition. kitchen garden competition, house up-keep competition and baby shows are a regular feature in a lady’s Regimental life.

          The Family Welfare Centers are an integral part of the Regimental Centers and the battalions. Established with  a view to enhancing the official efforts towards the well being and welfare of families and Regimental children, they are an important institution where vocational training is imparted to the families to make them self reliant.
